Create your account and verify your email

For buyersUpdated

In short

Go to the sign-up page, enter your name, your company country, your work email and a password of at least 12 characters, accept the terms and choose Create account. Vendarity emails you a verification link that works for one hour. Open it: it signs you in and continues to setting up your workspace. New workspaces start with a 14-day trial, and no card is needed to start.

Your account is how you sign in. Your workspace, which you set up next, holds your suppliers and their documents. New workspaces start with a 14-day trial, and no card is needed to start.

How do I create an account?

  1. Open the sign-up page

Choose Start free trial at the top of the site, or go to Create your account. If a colleague invited you, open the link in the invitation instead, so you join their workspace with the invited email address; you are not asked for a company country. When the link reached you in Vendarity's invitation email, creating the account signs you in straight away, with no verification email. See Invite team members.

  2. Enter your details

Fill in Your name, Company country and Work email. Choose a Password of 12 to 128 characters. Vendarity serves businesses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

  3. Accept the terms

Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service, including the Data Processing Addendum, and to confirm you have read the Privacy Policy. Vendarity records which version you accepted.

  4. Create the account

Choose Create account. The page shows Check your inbox and the address the link went to. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or choose Send the link again. If the address already has an account, sign in or reset your password instead.

  5. Verify your email

Open the email titled “Verify your Vendarity email” and choose its “Verify email” button. The link expires in one hour. It signs you in, so you don't type your password again.

  6. Set up your workspace

Vendarity opens workspace setup, and after it asks you to set up an authenticator app. See Set up your company's workspace. If you already have an authenticator, the link only verifies your email: sign in with your password and code.

Tip: Vendarity refuses passwords that are on lists of common or leaked passwords (including a common word with digits or symbols added), that contain “Vendarity” or a word from the name part of your email address, or that are a repeated or sequential run. A few unrelated words make a strong password that is easy to remember.

Choose Send the link again on the page you signed up on, or sign in with your email address and password: if your email is not verified yet, Vendarity sends a new verification link and tells you so. The new link also expires in one hour. A link that was already used, or has expired, opens the sign-in page with that explanation.

You cannot sign in or create a workspace until your email is verified.

Which email address should I use?

Use your own work email address. It becomes your sign-in, receives your verification and password reset emails, and is the address a colleague uses to invite you to their workspace.

What happens when the trial ends?

See Trial, plans, prices and billing for the trial's limits and what changes when it ends.

Note: Paid checkout is not available yet. Until it opens, a trial that ends becomes read-only for 30 days so you can export your records, then it is deleted as the Terms describe.

Common questions
