Give Vendarity support temporary access to your documents

For buyersWho can do this: Owner or AdminUpdated

In short

Vendarity support can’t read your documents unless an Owner or Admin lets them, for a limited time. In Settings, Team & access, enter the support person’s email, choose 4, 24 or 72 hours, describe the issue and choose Grant read-only access. Every view and download is recorded in your history, and you can revoke access at any time.

Sometimes the quickest way to resolve a problem is for support to look at the document involved. You decide whether that happens, for how long, and you see every access.

What can support see without a grant?

Your workspace’s name, country and plan, its key dates, how many suppliers, team members and documents it has and how much storage it uses, whether it is on hold for legal reasons, and how often in the last 7 days it reached the limits on creating links and invitations. Not your documents or what they say.

How do I grant access?

  1. Open Team & access

Choose Settings, then Team & access, and find Vendarity support access.

  2. Enter the support person

Type the email address of the Vendarity support person you are working with. It must belong to an active Vendarity support operator.

  3. Choose how long

In Duration, choose 4 hours, 24 hours or 72 hours (maximum).

  4. Describe the issue

In What should support look into?, write 8 to 500 characters.

  5. Grant access

Choose Grant read-only access. If your last sign-in was not recent, you are asked to sign in again first.

How do I see and end access?

Each active grant shows the support person, when it ends, who granted it and why. Choose Revoke next to it to end it at once; access also ends by itself at the time shown.

Support access history lists each time support viewed your list of documents or downloaded an original file.

  • Access is read-only: support can view but not change your records.
  • You can have up to three active grants. Revoke one to add another.
  • Support access isn’t available in the sample workspace.

Tip: Need help? Contact support first, and grant access only when you agree that support should see a document.

Common questions

Can support change my records?
No. A grant gives read-only access for the time you choose, and every view and download is recorded.
Who can grant or revoke support access?
Owners and Admins of the workspace.
Does access end on its own?
Yes. Each grant ends at the time shown, after 4, 24 or 72 hours, unless you revoke it sooner.
