See who did what in your workspace
In short
To see who changed something and when, an Owner or Admin opens Settings, History. It lists everything recorded in the workspace, newest first: supplier work and review decisions, team and settings changes, exports, billing and Vendarity support access. Filter by area, person and dates, page back through older events, and choose Export CSV to download up to 10,000 matching events.
The workspace history is the record Vendarity keeps as work is saved. Use it to answer who changed something and when, or to give a security reviewer the events they ask for.
What does the history show?
Each event shows who did it, what happened, its area, and when it happened in the workspace timezone. When an event belongs to a record, a link opens it: the event itself on the supplier’s Activity tab, the supplier’s Documents tab for a document, or Team & access for a change to your team. An event about a request (drafted, sent, delivered, a reminder or a text, cancelled) also names it by the reference the supplier’s request list shows, such as “Request ab12cd34”, and links to it.
| Area | What it holds |

| Requirements & requests | Requirements, assigned requirements, requests and their delivery. |
| Uploads & documents | Documents received, documents shared with suppliers, downloads and AI suggestions. |
| Reviews & decisions | Review decisions, exceptions and supplier approvals. |
| Notes & messages | Internal notes, shared messages and supplier questions. |
| Findings & tasks | Findings, tasks and reported changes to accepted documents. |
| Team & sign-in | Invitations, role changes, removals, the authenticator requirement and authenticator resets. |
| Vendarity support access | Support access granted or revoked, and what support viewed or downloaded. |
| Exports & sharing | Evidence packs, account exports and auditor invitations. |
| Settings & automation | Workspace settings and logo, reminder automation, and AI and text-reminder choices. |

How do I find an event?
Open the history
Choose Settings, then History.
Choose filters
Choose an Area, a Person, or dates in From date and Through date. Dates follow the workspace timezone and include the whole of both days.
Apply them
Choose Apply filters. The count shows how many events match. Choose Older events to page back, or Reset to clear the filters.
Former members stay in the Person list, marked “former member”. A supplier contact whose details were erased appears as Former contact and a number, in the history and in the export.
How do I export it?
Choose Export CSV to download the events that match your filters, newest first. If your last sign-in was not recent, you are asked to sign in again first. An export holds up to 10,000 events, so narrow the dates when more match.
- Each row has the event’s exact time in UTC (world standard time) and its time in the workspace timezone, the person, the area, what happened and the record it belongs to.
- The account export in Data & closure holds the whole history.
- A cell a spreadsheet could run as a formula starts with an apostrophe, so opening the file can’t run it.
Tip: Each supplier’s own history is on its Activity tab, which every member of your team can open.
Common questions
- Who can see the workspace history?
- Owners and Admins. Other roles see each supplier’s own history on its Activity tab.
- Does the history show what Vendarity support did?
- Yes. Granting and revoking support access, and each time support viewed your list of documents or downloaded an original file, appear under Vendarity support access.
- Why can’t I export the history?
- An export holds up to 10,000 events. When more match, narrow the dates or filters, or use the account export in Data & closure for the whole history.
